This is an original Criterion 20½‑inch music box disc, featuring the classic tune “My Old New Hampshire Home.” Disc No. 5213, this large-format Criterion disc offers the bold, resonant sound these machines are known for and remains a favorite among collectors of antique music boxes, mechanical music, and late‑19th‑century American home entertainment.
The disc is in nice overall condition, with no missing teeth visible, and retains the clean, well‑preserved presentation expected from a properly stored example. Criterion and Olympia discs share the same 3/8″ center hole, making them fully interchangeable across compatible machines—an important detail for collectors and restorers seeking authentic, playable discs for their music boxes.
We use a stock photo for our Criterion discs, as they are all similar in appearance and condition. Any meaningful differences—such as markings, wear, or unique characteristics—will always be noted in the listing. This disc represents a solid, desirable example for anyone building a Criterion or Olympia disc library, restoring a period music box, or expanding a collection of antique mechanical music.
