Description:

Standard “X” Phonograph with Beautiful Horn

The Standard X was launched around 1904 by the East Liverpool China Company of Chicago, which later evolved into the Great Northern Manufacturing Company. Similar to its successor, the Standard model A, the X was regarded as a high-quality machine. All mechanical parts were produced by Columbia. This attractive machine underwent a complete restoration several years ago and has since been used as a display piece. It still operates and looks impressive! Notably, the horn has been repainted in yellow with black pinstripes, a departure from the original red, which I find visually appealing. Additionally, three records will be included for your enjoyment. This unique color adds a refreshing contrast to an otherwise ordinary machine, making it stand out beautifully. Its overall aesthetic is fantastic, making it an ideal gift or display item. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
