Nice Edison early (1901) Standard model “A” Phonograph!
This machine exhibits a remarkable level of beauty, indicating that it has been meticulously maintained throughout the years. It appears to be entirely original and in its original state. This particular model, known as the “New Style,” marks the beginning of a redesign aimed at deviating from the box-like appearance. Notably, this model, dating back to 1901, features a case with a subtle green tint. While the internal mechanisms are identical to the square case model, the external design showcases a fresh and innovative approach. Undoubtedly, this machine serves as an exceptional representation of the “New Style or A” model. The accompanying photos clearly demonstrate its excellent condition, making it perhaps the finest standard model I have come across.
