Description:

Victor VII Disc Phonograph.

This beautifully restored phonograph is a testament to exceptional craftsmanship. Encased in luxurious mahogany, it exudes sophistication with its detailed nickel hardware and an elegantly painted horn. The European models are notable for their painted horns, setting them apart from the standard black models found in the U.S. It features a durable two-spring Victor motor, promising many years of reliable operation. Moreover, this remarkable piece bears the prestigious “Palmer’s Sunderland Arcade” label on its front. Stemming from Palmer’s music department, managed by Palmer’s wife, this phonograph carries a rich musical legacy that dates back to its inception in 1900. The Sunderland Arcade, a delightful series of shops under a grand glass roof, became a famed tourist destination in 1888, situated on the scenic southwest coast of England.
