Description:

Edison Amberola “VI” Mahogany Cylinder Player

The Edison Amberola “VI” belongs to the inaugural series of Amberola phonographs launched by Thomas Edison in 1911. These phonographs featured an innovative internal speaker design, moving away from the traditional external horn configuration. The “VI” model, along with others in the Roman numeral lineup, was constructed using premium materials, including mahogany cabinets. Designed to play Blue Amberol records—durable four-minute cylinder records produced between 1912 and 1929—this model has been meticulously restored to a condition that rivals, if not surpasses, its original state. It boasts an impressive appearance and exceptional sound quality, all housed in an elegant mahogany case. If you have any inquiries, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
